Will you draw (insert thing here) for me? For free?
No. Art is a luxury no one is entitled to. I’ve spent over a decade honing my skills and have student loans to pay, dogs to feed, games to buy, and anime figures to collect. Asking for my time and effort with no compensation, or any artist for that matter, is extremely disrespectful.
Do you take requests?
No. But if someone drops a suggestion that I happen to like I may draw it. But not because it was requested.
Your art is too expensive! Can I get a discount?
I sometimes offer discounts at my own discretion but will not do so just because someone asks. If you want to know when I will have a sale, you will need to follow my social media to receive updates.
Can you send me a physical print of my commission?
Currently, I do not have the means to do that, but that may change in the future.
Will you make a tutorial on (insert thing here)?
I am open to any tutorial topics that anyone may have, but I can’t promise I will make a tutorial for it if I feel like I don’t know enough about said topic or don’t have time.

I have a friend/loved one/coworker/acquaintance who is JW. How do I show them it’s a cult?!
You don’t. If you tell them that it’s a cult, it will 99% of the time cause what is called the “backfire effect”. This will cause them to become further indoctrinated. Instead, you need to challenge their beliefs using what is known as “street epistemology”. And don’t hold your breath. It takes a loooooooong time to deprogram.
A JW knocked on my door. What do I do to keep them from coming back?
You have two options. 1, tell them you’re an apostate*. They’ll avoid you like the plague. 2, tell them you want on the “do not call” list. They will write your name and address down and will not return for 10 years. At least, that’s what is supposed to happen. If that doesn’t work, you’re now an apostate.
And please. PLEASE. Don’t try to scare them off, answer the door in your tighty-whities, let your large angry dogs out to chase them away (this happened to me when I was 6!), or generally be a jerk to them. While I understand it’s annoying for them to show up, doing anything like that is going to further indoctrinate them because they will feel persecuted and think, “Look how horrible “worldly” people are to act like that! I’m so glad I’m not worldly.”
*Apostate: This is a term JWs use for ones who leave the organization and speak out against it, like me. They consider apostates to be worse than any other human being on the planet. Ironically, the meaning of the word in biblical terms is “free slave"/run-away slave”. Which I am quite proud to be.
